Hi, I am Aimee Joiner.

I started Aimee Ellen Photography, a still life natural light photography company in 2011. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 10 years. I am a lover of dogs (my sweet Kasey who passed in Aug 2018 and our new love Kirby), DIY home projects and Indie Rock. I absolutely love the outdoors and love to travel. Some of my favorite tv shows are Felicity, Blindspot, PLL, Chicago PD, Criminal Minds to name a few. In early 2016, I made the decision to rebrand and decided to change the name of my business from my name to Magpie and Rye. Magpie comes from a song from one of mine and my husband’s favorite bands.
